Since 2004 she's involved mostly in thoracic anaesthesia, responsible for research, education and fellowship in thoracic anaesthesia. Since last year she's active member and promotor of lung transplant programme in Slovenia. She's EACTA Thoracic Subcomm member, ESA and ESPA member, Vice president of SCAIM since 2015. She completed her residency in 2009 and was awarded the ESA Fellowship program during her residency (observer at Papworth Hospital, Cambridge, UK for 3 months). She has been in Department of Regional Anesthesia at St Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York City for 1 year as a research fellow (NYSORA), and since then has been working in Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation of Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. Dr Senturk is a thoracic anaesthetist: he is currently the Chair of the thoracic subcommittee of EACTA; is also active in ESA (a former member of the subcommittee of respiration).
