Free subscription.

From January 2005 all EACTA members will receive free subscription to the European Journal of Anaesthesiology. The Directory Board and Representative Counsel consider this to be a very good membership benefit.

As part of this agreement EACTA will also have its own special section in the EJA. This is a great opportunity to gather together European research, resulting in a journal of which we can be proud to be part . We believe that this will have a favourable impact on the possibilities for publishing cardiovascular research.

The impact factor of EJA is increasing. The cardiovascular research is generally of a high scientific standard and if we all submit our research to the EJA in the future we could all benefit as the impact factor improves further.

The EACTA section will have its own EACTA editor and the Directory Board will appoint an EACTA Editor Group within short time.

We hope that all EACTA members will appreciate this initiative.
