The Multiplate analyzer measures platelet function in whole blood, within 10 minutes using only 0.3 ml of blood. The system is highly sensitive for Aspirin, Clopidogrel, Prasugrel, Reopro and other platelet function inhibitors. In several clinical studies the best in class ability of Multiplate to predict bleeding or transfusion requirements in patients undergoing surgery or PCI was shown. In addition Multiplate is widely used to monitor anti-platelet treatments in order to determine the individual patient response and thus to optimize anti-platelet therapy.
