Public transportation from Airport Schönefeld to any place downtown is possible on a single fare ticket (zones A,B,C) at the price of €euro; 2.80. This ticket is valid for 2 hours from validation and allows changes between lines and different modes of public transport (U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram, bus). The best way to get from Airport Schönefeld is to walk 5 mins on a covered walkway from the airport terminal to the train station Schönefeld. There you can take any DB train (usually with abbreviations RE or RB and a number following) into the direction Berlin Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). Usually they are marked "Airport Express". Exit at Hauptbahnhof and take any S-Bahn train (S3, S5, S7, S75) into the direction Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten / Charlottenburg. Exit at the second stop, Tiergarten station.
