• Professor Laszlo Szegedi is the head of Anaesthesia Department, Charleroi and Chair of EACTA Thoracic Anaesthesia Committee.
• Professor Waheed Karzai is a Professor of Anaesthesiology, University of Jena; Head Dept of Anesthesia, Zentralklinik, Bad Berka, Germany. Main interests: Thoracic Anaesthesia, Airway Management, Ventilation, Perioperative Risk, Quality of Care
• Dr Nandor Marczin is a consultant in adult cardiothoracic anaesthesia at the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Foundation Trust and a clinical senior lecturer at Imperial College London. He is the immediate past chair of the eacta transplant and VAD subcommittee, active member of the EACTA thoracic committee and member of the ESA cardiothoracic scientific subcommittee. He currently chairs a multi-society consensus project regarding perioperative management of lung transplantation.
• Professor Mert Şentürk Professor of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia, Istanbul University, Istanbul, Turkey, Main investigator of the PROTHOR Trial, Scientific Delegate of the EACTA Thoracic Committee
• Dr Jo Mourisse, is a cardiothoracic anesthesiologist with special interest in thoracic anaesthesia and one lung ventilation, Radboud University Medical Centre, Nijmegen, The Netherlands
