'Every year we walked away from the EACTA Meeting telling people about our fantastic speakers and the new research that had come out' said Manfred Seeberger, President of EACTA 'now they can see it for themselves. And we felt it was vital to make it easily available to as large an audience of possible, so we've made it very inexpensive to do so.'

EACTA 2012 in Amsterdam was perhaps the associations most successful to date, with over 700 delegates joining together under the theme 'Teamwork @ the Cutting Edge', based on an innovative scientific programme which explored new approaches to the multidisciplinary approach so vital to this field of medicine.

'The future of medicine in all disciplines is teamwork. Medical knowledge is spread over many different specialties and it was important for us to reflect this fact' said Peter Rosseel, Chair of the EACTA 2012 Organising Committee.

With so many top-class speakers and sessions coming together at once, it wouldn't have been possible for delegates to attend all the sessions, and EACTA felt it was important to make this reservoir of knowledge available to the medical community beyond the EACTA 2012 delegates themselves.

'It's what makes this web streaming so vital' continued Peter Rosseel of EACTA 'Often people only go to sessions associated with their discipline, now they have the opportunity to really explore what's going on out there. The fact that they can do it in their own time makes it all the more attractive.'
