From the Introduction
The 2019 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has impacted congenital cardiac surgical programs with significant reduction in case load, implementation of patient triage strategies, and development of personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines. This document summarizes current status and implications of COVID-19 in congenital cardiac surgery outlining recommendations from the Congenital Cardiac Anesthesia Society.
