European Journal of Anaesthesiology has offered cooperation with EACTA. A decision to make the EJA the official journal of EACTA has been made. Many years of cooperation with the British Journal of Anaesthesia ends, not because of problems, but "Pan- European" journal and the European Academy of Anaesthesiology. The Board has hopes that a specific section on cardiothoracic and vascular anaesthesia should come. This will, however, depend on whether we as cardiothoracic and vascular anaesthesiologists send our scientific work to the EJA.
