How to reach the congress venue

You can easily get to Gdańsk, by flying to Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport. Sometimes, when flight connection to Gdańsk is not available from your country, it’s good to check connection to Warsaw Chopin Airport, and then get to Gdańsk by domestic flights, or by train( http://rozklad-pkp.pl/en ). Airport can be easily and quickly reached from the city's centre. |
| Gdańsk airport is located approximately 10 km from the city centre. The airport is connected with Gdańsk Wrzeszcz by PKM train (Pomorska Kolej Metropolitalna) – it takes 23 minutes to get to Gdańsk Wrzeszcz (the ticket costs ca. 5,5zł = 1.5 euro). You can easily buy the ticket in a ticket machine at the station. The station is located at the airport, near the terminal T2. Other way to get to the city center is to use a bus- bus line nr 210, or to Gdańsk Wrzeszcz – Bus line nr 110 (cost ca. 4zł=1euro). You can also use a Taxi – f.e. Hallo Taxi, which offered a 20% discount for you during your stay in Poland. The number is +48 58 19 666. To use a discount you need to say the password “CONGRESS”. You can use it also later during your stay. Te cost is 10-12 € to get to Gdańsk Wrzeszcz, Gdańsk Główny(city center) or Medical University of Gdańsk. |

By train |

You can reach Gdańsk from other cities by using Intercity or PKP trains. The main station (Gdańsk Główny) is located in the heart of Gdańsk, less than 3 km from Medical University of Gdańsk. You can book your train ticket in advance using this website: http://rozklad-pkp.pl/en |
By car |

You can also come to Gdańsk by car – it is very comfortable option, but please note that there are traffic jams in Gdańsk, especially in rush hours. Parking your car, you need to buy a ticket, which usually costs 3zł/1h. There is a parking zone near Gdańsk Medical University – if you park on a street it will cost 3zł/1h, if you park on the hospital area it costs 8zł/1h. |
